Who can forget how ecstatic the rail advocacy community was with this announcement by Amtrak’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Anthony Coscia, on 19 August 2016: “We are very pleased that someone with Wick’s experience and vision will lead Amtrak during this critical period as the company charts a course for future growth and improvement.
