tim's weed patch

Ok I discovered a truth. The pods-previously viewed- are the containers that hold the seeds.According to Jane Embertson the pods are the final station for the plant and they hold a beauty of their own.So next up is Common Milkweed-Asxiepias syriaca. This weed blooms June-Aug growing 2′-5′ tall in all the usual places:roadsides, fields, ditches, all the undesirable places. The flowers are oval with rounded tips. Now the good stuff! The pods develop Sept into winter. As one can see the pod is warty with parachutes to spread the seeds.A cool thing about pods is that creative people make arrangements from them.Always something good coming-most of the time-from my weed patch2.0.
