Oil Finds a Range

Barataria - The work of Erik Hare

One critical issue is absent in this election year. Well, actually all critical issues are absent, but that’s another point. This time around absolutely no one is talking about one thing that has dominated US politics since the early 1970s – the price of oil. Gasoline is cheap and everyone is happy.

Everyone, that is, except the oil and gas industry. The crash in oil prices in 2014 has confounded the business of drilling, baby, drilling and left oil prices if anything too low – a concern if your job is to make the bubblin’ crude come out of the ground.

It’s been a mystery since the crash just where oil prices will finally land. Today, however, most experts finally agree – we are probably right now in the range that oil will stay at for at least the next year, if not beyond. That’s great for the US, but…

The Morning Pickup: The Darkness Pushed Aside

Wide Awake But Dreaming

I didn’t need a lot to finish up the first scene of Chapter Four because I was near the end the other night, only I was too tired to finish then.  Last night, however:  it was a combination of naps, looking at software, picking out songs, and writing the final paragraphs that got me to where I am today.

All this took hours. Believe it. All this took hours. Believe it.

It’s interesting that the first scene of the first chapter of Part One is the shortest scene in the book, and now, the first scene of the first chapter of Part Two, is the second shortest in the novel.  Though I have to say this scene is far more painful than that other scene, but at least it ends better than it started–

The Journey of My Left Foot (whilst remembering my son)

Tuesday 18th October

Missing your sweet little face

You’ve left a big empty space

Smiles and laughter, no trace

Your cheekiness we can’t replace

But I know I’ll see you someplace

Can’t wait for a gentle embrace.

Fly high Starman

Amongst the stars you chase

Forever in our hearts

Gone to rest in a higher place.

August 2012

Peaceful beside the waterfall

A quiet moment

Low tide in the harbour

Bright and breezy

My Diary: Sat On An Iceberg Shaped Like A Boat

Gerald's Rather Strange Diary

A surprisingly early morning in what used to be a quickly read comic book dawn.‭ ‬June was still on a dry sea bed with tall masted boats floating in and then out again through the half open window‭ ‬-‭ ‬the view has always reminded me of a gigantic baby squat on a miniscule potty.‭ ‬Poppy and I walked through the internal cavities of the only life form that actually exists on Earth:‭ ‬it is supposed to be sleeping and we are its dreams‭ ‬-‭ ‬sometimes I wish it would wake up‭ (‬although most of the time I don’t,‭ ‬especially when I look up and see symbols in the sky‭)‬.‭ ‬As usual June went to town‭; ‬her clothes aerodynamically fashioned to keep her feet on the ground‭ ‬-‭ ‬of course,‭ ‬they wouldn’t fit me even if I was brave enough to wear them.

If travelling was free…

What if travelling was free? Would we do anything else in our lives apart from travelling from one country to another ? I guess the answer is hidden in the photo below :

I feel like this heart of mine is made to travel this world . I wish i could have enough money and time to explore every single rock of this planet . I mean according to researches , people visit only 1% of planet during their whole life ! Okay this give us not much hope but as i use to tell you , researches are just numbers and WE are the ones who create our lives!

I am in love with cities I ‘ ve never been to and people I ‘ ve never met . It’s really hard for me to believe that there’s one person in this world who won’t want to travel if…
